The finals of the “UW Sumathipala Memorial Trophy” 66th National Snooker Championship 2018, conducted by Billiards & Snooker Association of Sri Lanka which was sponsored by UW Sumathipala Foundation for the 20th successive time was held on 03rd November at the Moors Sports Club, Colombo – 02. Mr. Chadu Sumathipala, Executive Director of Sumathi Holdings conducted the event as the chief guest while Mr. Chathula Sumathipala, Director of Sumathi Holdings participated as the guest of honor.
Mr. Mohammed Fazul Mohammed Fahim (Moors Sports Club) has become the winner of the tournament, Mr. Ryan Somarathne (OAC) became the first runner-up and Mr. Susantha Botheju (S/E) became the second runner-up
